Your First Quiz

Let’s create and run your first quiz session!

  1. Log In

    Go to your Quix admin panel and log in with your credentials.

  2. Create Questions

    • Navigate to Questions in the sidebar
    • Click Add Question
    • Fill in:
      • Title: “What is the capital of France?”
      • Options: A: London, B: Paris, C: Berlin, D: Madrid
      • Correct Answer: B
      • Time Limit: 20 seconds
    • Click Save
    • Repeat to add 2-3 more questions

  3. Create Session

    • Click Create Session on the dashboard
    • Enter a session name (e.g., “My First Quiz”)
    • Select the questions you created
    • Click Create

  4. Start Quiz

    • Open the session you just created
    • Share the 6-digit PIN with participants
    • Open the display screen in a new window (projector view)
    • Click Start Session

  5. Run Questions

    • Click Send Question to show the first question
    • Wait for participants to answer
    • Click End Question to reveal results
    • View the leaderboard
    • Repeat for remaining questions

  6. End Session

    Click End Session to see the final leaderboard.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • Timer Mode: Choose “Auto” to automatically end questions when time runs out
  • Late Join: Enable to allow players to join mid-quiz
  • Randomize: Shuffle question order for each session
