Game Modes

Quix supports three distinct game modes, each designed for different use cases.

The standard quiz format where players compete individually to answer questions correctly and quickly.

  1. Admin creates a session with selected questions
  2. Players join using a 6-digit PIN
  3. Questions appear one at a time on all screens
  4. Players answer within the time limit
  5. Leaderboard updates after each question
  6. Final results shown at session end

  1. Admin enables Team Mode when creating the session
  2. Define teams (e.g., Red Team, Blue Team)
  3. Players select their team when joining
  4. Individual answers contribute to team score
  5. Team leaderboard shows combined standings

  • Each correct answer adds points to the team total
  • Team score = Sum of all member scores
  • Ties broken by average response time
  • 2-4 teams works best for most events
  • Pre-assign teams for corporate events
  • Let players choose for casual games

An elimination-style voting tournament where items compete head-to-head.

  1. Create bracket items (products, ideas, options)
  2. Matchups are generated automatically
  3. Players vote on each matchup
  4. Winners advance to next round
  5. Final winner determined by elimination
